happy new year! 2005 passed in a flash.
went to meet my primary sch frens, cheng wei and clement at 9pm. very early, all thanks to cw. took a train down to marina. decided to sit down at some place first. all was packed, so in the end we went to mac. 9pm is so early, but there were kiasu s'poreans that went to reserve seats to watch the fireworks already. we saw people selling snow cans, so cw and clement decided to buy some for defensive purposes. 7 for $10, kinda cheap. sat at mac till it was almost 12. then headed to esplanade.
somehow, we pushed ouselves right to the front? obviously, there were foreign people there too. duh. somehow clement's aunt spotted him and sadly we missed our chance of helping him spray her with our snow.
fireworks started, we started spraying. it caused a big hole behind us. haha. there were some china people on our right side and they were VERY AMAZED by how beautiful the fireworks were. all the 'hao piao liang wor', 'xiang liu xing yu eh', 'wa, zhe me mei'. yea, u get the picture. that lasted for a full 9 mins. =)
after that proceded to clark quay for some fun. everyone was spraying. many incidents of us attacking someone that attacked either one of us. i got sprayed real bad till i looked like i just had a shower. all sticky and my hair was wet. in the end, clement had 1 can of spray left. we were standing around deciding what to do when i spotted lim en! since clement had the spray, he chased her down the escalator and up again finishing the whole can of spray. haha.
in the end we took the last train back to holland and settled down at coffee bean. sat there till abt 3.30 i guess and we headed home. it was a fun way to start the new year.
and i shall not make any new year resolutions. cuz i never stick to them! i just wish for more money. =D and hopefully a rich bf to go with that. jk. wadevrr.
