Alrights, after a whole afternoon of sleep, I can finally find the energy to blog (:
Tuesday
First day of work at Esplanade, we had to report at 1.300pm at the bomb shelter. For once, we were EARLY. Besides that, Yi Juan and I bought this cute sweet thingy.
That's mine. Her's is the one with a "Flirt" on it.
Prepared for the trail by going around the stations with Lena first. It was kinda embarrassing cuz we had to act like those kiddies we were gonna take later. There was once where we repetedly counted the number of squares at a particular station. EVERYONE was staring. Zzz.
We took pri 3 kids from Nan Chiau. They were 1/2hr late though. My group L6-L10 had only 3 girls out of 20 kids. Wonderful (:
Was raising my voice during the whole 2hr trail. The oh so quiet Esplanade turned into a roudy place once 480 pri 3 kids stepped into it. About half way through the trail, I bumpped into Mrs Bin!! It was nice, but at the wrong time. Didn't get a chance to talk to her for long.
We ended 1hr later than expected, and Lance was already waiting for me. Oops, my bad. Having not eaten a thing for the whole day, we flocked down to Thai Express. Saw Juliana and her friend there too. For dessert, we went down to Gelare for some waffles.
That ice cream there is like the best thing on earth!! Its called "Low Fat Apple Crumble Pie Youghut" LOW FAT! Plus points. I LOVE IT!!
Lance loves it too, that explains why he seems so high in the pic! Too much of that ice cream. Tsk.
Too full to finish everything, but the ice cream is GONE!
Wednesday
Planned to wake up at 5am today, but I woke at 5.20am instead. Hurried and rushed out of the house. Waited for the lift, and I remembered that I forgot my script! THE most impt thing I need. Zzz. Went back home and collected it. Took the lift down, walked 1/2 way towards the bus stop, remembered I forgot my watch (2nd most impt thing for my job))! Ran all the way back home to get it.
Supposed to meet all of them at Raffles Place, but I saw Yi Juan at the front of the train when it approached Commonwealth while i was standing at the end. Boarded the train and called her. Our horrible plan was to, get out at Queenstown station, run all the way and meet in the middle, and go in the train! Sadly, we met, and the door closed on us.
So, we were LATE. Reached Changi Airport at 7.40am. Same thing as yesterday, went thru the stations but it was more complicated than yesterday's cuz it was in Terminal 1 and 2. And, I'm not familiar with the airport. Today's kids were from Yishun pri. Primary 4 kids.
My group C6-C10 was alright, except for 1 obnoxious boy. I almost blew at him! Raised my voice as usual, and there wasn't enough time to complete everything.
After the whole thing ended, Jan, Yi Juan, Karen, Cheng Wei and I went to EAT! Ate at Popeye's. LOVE IT! Sadly, there's only 1 outlet in SG which is located at Changi Airport ):
Went back there after we ate to snap a few pics.

Its nice, but sadly its super HOT!
That box there was a killer station!! I should have just skipped it. Haha.
While waiting for the train back home (: (Look at our eyebags. That's what u get for waking up when the sky's still dark)
We usually don't sit on the floor in the train, but we were super TIRED! Besides, there was already nothing to be embarrassed about cuz everyone saw us shout and raise our voices at the kids at Changi Airport!
