I wanna blog about my trip to Escape last Saturday and the fishing trip yesterday, but I haven’t got all the pictures yet so I shall wait. Meanwhile, I shall talk about Monday.

Woke up at:

Already late, cuz I planned to wake up at 4.45am. Went out of my room and turned on the lights. A baby lizard scrambled pass me and it went into the toilet. SHIT! I tried for 5 minutes knocking on stuff to make noises hoping it will get out of the toilet, but it got worse, it went all the way into the toilet.

I had no choice but to take
out and I started spraying. I continuously sprayed at it for like 5mins and it did not die! Argh. It was scary cuz it seemed like it could run out anytime at me!! Later, it positioned itself at the screen of my shower area and I continued spraying. It didn't movie already, but the eyes were still open. So, I assumed it was dead after quite a while and proceeded brushing my teeth at one corner while staring at that spot. Then I showered at 1 spot while looking at the lizard making sure it didn't move! What a way to start my morning. I only started brushing my teeth at like 5.20am! Imagine how quick I had to be in order not to be late.

Met Yi Juan at Commonwealth at like 6.15am, and took the train all the way to Tampines. Called Karen to ask for the bus no. to go to St. Hilda Primary and she was only at Bedok. So, we hitched a ride from her dad in the end (:

Reached St. Hilda's exactly at 7.30 and the security guard though we were nurses! I think it was because of the white polo tee we had to wear. So, we met the rest and started working. Gave out refreshments first, then we boarded the bus. Idil and I took 5/1 and I had to tell them this grandmother story about Singapore River. The pri 5 kids are real smart; they can answer all my questions.

Idil then asked them to do some or MOST of the questions they were supposed to do. We completed 5 out of 7 questions that were in the booklet! Yay. So it was rather relaxed when we reached SG river. I took my own sweet time and gave them breaks to stare at the river. I even had enough time to bring them to Macs at the end of the day.

Ended the trail on time and we took the bus back, the kids started to sing lame songs such as Roti Prata and Bumble Bee. It was real funny. We were the first ones to reach school. (:

After work, all of us went to the school canteen for lunch! Cheap food!! Rice and 3 dishes only cost me $1.50. 600ml mineral water was only 40cents! Love it!

After that Karen, Yi Juan and I went down to Jurong's IMM Giant to buy food for tmr’s fishing trip. We bought bread, tuna, lettuce, tomato, sausages, eggs, and a whole lot of drinks!

Was dead tired after that and went home to sleep. I only slept for 2hrs the day before. From 3am-5am. Crazy.

No pictures taken for the trail. Was dead tired to snap any photos despite bringing my camera along! Haha.
