Let me blog about Wednesday- School, Trail, SG Idol.
Woke up early for 9am CMA lecture, after that had our food rations (:
Karen, Yi Juan and I went over to meet Jun Wei to get to Labrador Park for a trail. Took 61 there and we started taking pics!

Cabbed inside Labrador cuz it was sponsered by office and did the usual.
The weather looked real bad.
Seemed like it was gonna pour any moment.
But when we walked to the jetty, the weather looked a little better. All was well till the kids came. They were from Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary School. The P6's. As the buses came one by one, the weather took a turn for the worse. It started to POUR puppies and kittens once my bus arrived.
It was one of the last buses, so I had no choice to take shelter at the nearest pavilion (it was my starting station!!) where most of the facils were with their kids.
After a while, I don't know why Esther asked me to carry on with the trail despite the pouring rain. I DID NOT have an umbrella or a poncho. So whatever, I just walked in the freaking rain with some nice kids trying to share their umbrella's with me. I still got wet.
I walked all the way to the last pavilion, no facils but ALL the teachers. Gosh. No choice but to stay put there with them. I tried to get them to do questions, but it was damn hard cuz of the rain, thunder and lightning. I couldn't even hear my own voice. I tried really hard to get the kids to do the questions that I could explain to them.
To make matters worse, some of the kids booklet was soaking wet cuz they dropped it on the floor, my facil notes were also soaking wet due to the rain. AND, I had to have a crazy girl in my class. Now this is a total challenge.
And when I mean a crazy girl, I really mean literally crazy. Her teacher warned me that she can just burst out screaming and shouting and roll on the floor anytime. Lucky for me, I didnt get to witness the rolling part.
When the rain got smaller, I walked them to some stations, and then I met Karen on the way. Soon, the rain got heavier again and we had to take shelter at some other pavilion. Discussed with Karen, and we decided to give up. So we all brought them to the playground when the rain got smaller and eventually stopped.
We made a deal with them. Do ur feedback forms, give me ur tags and go play. We also asked them to gather back at 4.00pm cuz the trail was suppose to end at 4.15pm. So the kids happily went to play, and Karen and I started to cam whore.

Oops. They were not from my class. Haha.

Ai Ling then came over, and told us that the trail has been extended till 5pm! We felt like shit then. While more cam whoring, we saw Esther and the whole group of teachers come over so we had no choice but to gather the kids and pretend that we were teaching them.
I slowly walked to the jetty with them, told them a whole bunch of crap, and walked back when the time was up. I was still soaking wet from head to toe the whole time.
Trail ended, and Karen, Yi Juan and I tried so hard to get a cab to rush down to Mediacorp cuz we had to reach there by 6.30pm. We got damn pissed cuz there was no cab! and the cabs that were empty didnt wanna stop for us! In the end, we had to dial a cab. The whole trip from Labrador to Mediacorp cost us $4.20 EACH!
It was my first time down at Mediacorp, and I was in my most unglam state. Oh, we also munched biscuits on the cab (our so-called dinner). Met Janice and Han Loon and waited a while in the queue, then went into the recording studio.
Obviously there was a lot of waiting. And what you usually see on tv isnt what's going on in the recording studio. Its really different. There will be people telling you what to do and when to do it. Really funny. Sadly no pictures were allowed, but I took a couple before they officially announced it.
The recording started, and there were some hic ups in the begining causing them to re-take. Norman was the 6 out of 7 performers to sing. Personally, I found the last 3 singers good. That includes Norman cuz he was the 6th! Haha. But, the judges were full of criticism for the first 6 contestants. After everything was over, there were also some more re-takes then we could all go home (:

The lens was super blur due to the super duper cold air-con so we used Janice's camera.
After that, we were hungry! So Yi Juan, Karen, Han Loon and I went to KAP Mac's for dinner! Reached home at like 11pm and I had French class the next day at 8am!
Thursday;
French class is a killer. That language is seriously crazy. Anws, it rained and I walked in the rain AGAIN. Shopping at night and I saw Nana!!
Today; was doing feedback forms in school after 2 lectures and got drenched in the rain AGAIN. (:
