My 3 day camp for Service has finally ended!
Where we spent our 3 days....
The first day was seriously crap. We were all inside the school hall divided into grps of 10 where I didn't know anyone in my grp except for 1. Lectures started and it was way boring! A booklet was given to us with abt 100+ slides!
The only thing we looked forward to was the break time. The food provided wasn't fantastic too (we paid $70 okay!). To make things worse, the air con was on full blast and it was freezing! I didn't bring any jacket what-so-ever so I was practically shaking.
Soon enough it was lunch time, and we were served food from the canteen.
Rice, drumstick, veg, egg and soup- served in some prison/army like tray. I was so laughing. That was what was remained of my lunch! Didnt bother to eat much.
We wern't really happy with the food, but still be able to SMILE for the camera!
Cont'd with more lectures and lame activities. Really boring. Then it was free time so we got out room keys and proceeded upstairs. They divided us into our rooms, but EVERYONE changed it. In the end, we slept with our own cliques.
We stayed in the boys dormitory, and ironically the sheets were PINK! Oh wadever, but the room seemed quite presentable.
Karen's already in love with her side of the bed.
And I love mine too! (except for the pillow cuz its so hard!)
That's the FREEZING cold fan! Did I mention that the blanket was totally useless as well? There were tiny holes on it and it was freezing at night. I woke up because of the coldness!

And the 'study' area which we didnt touch at all!
Thats our view outside! We stayed on the 5th floor!
In the end, Tami and YJ took 1 'room', Linda and Hui Fang the other and Karen and I the last. But it was all linked tgt so we could move from room to room w/o doors.

4 cubicles and 2 shower areas but we were unlucky cuz one of the shower had no head! Ugh. Okay, so we slacked around and explored our room until dinner time.
We watched some swimming heats taking place. And all the boys had HOT bods!! =D
Doesnt it look very similar?! They served almost the same thing again! Chicken, veg, rice, tou fu and soup. How boring pls.
After which it was briefing in that freezing hall again for our performance night. Then supper and bed time! Okay, so it was pretty early and we hanged around the swimming pool area for a while. There was a straight track all the way from the hall all the was across the pool to near our sleeping area.
That's just part of it!
Our initial plan was to order pizza hut or mcd, but in the end we didn’t ): so duh, we cam whored!!
HAHA! In the end we slept at around 1+.
Day 2
More of those boring lectures in the freezer. More activities, and discussion of performance at night. Our group decided to do a skit on DELIGHT (don't ask me what does that stand for because I cant rmb!) okay, so I was supposed to act as this super fussy and angry customer with 2 other girls. But in the end, only I was the one saying everything. Wth. But who cares.
Okay before that we had lunch service. We were served by 2 other groups. Haha. Then it was dinner service in the hall! It was more elaborate and all because of VIP's.

After dinner service was performance night. My grp was the first so we got it over and done with. Haha. Then watched the other 4 grps performed. Half way through, Elim Chew came to watch the performance (: Yea, that 77th street owner.
Yi Juan's grp was the last to perform and she was in charge of the spotlights, so I made my way up there with her to play around in the PA room =D took pictures like we were pro with adjusting the system! Ah-hem. Haha.

Then it was back to our rooms to wash up and all. Tami then wanted to go for a run. So we proceeded to the track. Yj and Tami went to run leaving Karen and I at the fitness corner. I saw those bars that I used to hang myself upsidedown last time, so duh! I went to play with it! Haven’t done that in a real long time!

Chatted until around 2+ and everyone went back to slp!
Day 3! LAST DAY!! WOO HOO!!
We started off with breakfast service from Karen and Tami's grp! Hahaha.
Okay, another meal w/o the prison/army plate! hahaha.
Then, back to our rooms 1 last time to pack up.. and more cam whoring!!
Our jump of joy! The camps finally gonna be OVER!
We can get real lame at times...

Then, it was another 2hrs of the lecture in the hall with activities taking up most of the time. Took more pictures! Then, it was the end of the camp!! YAY!

But YJ and I had to go down to St. Andrew Jr School for a briefing. So yes, we headed down all the way from Woodlands to Potong Pasir. We got sort of lost and ened up at SAJC, where we had to walk all the way to the other side to the pri sch. And it was hot, and we were carrying our heavy bags! Not to mention the TRM black polo shirt we were wearing. Gosh.
After briefing, we headed down to PS, then office! Stayed till around 8+ then went HOME! I LOVE MY HOME! And ROOM and TOILET!
I will update the camp I facilitated when I get hold of all the pictures! Hahaha.
