LAS VEGAS STUDY TRIP- DAY 3

Had to wake up super duper early today at like 6am! Cuz our official programme has started! And we were going to University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) to sit in some lectures.

The sway-est of the sway-est thing happened. Hui Fang lost her passport. Like the last thing you want when you're overseas. So she and Miss Ho didn't join us to UNLV.


We were early and waiting for the professor to come.


Spot the missing person.

First, we sat in for this 1hr lecture and the doctor's name was CURTIS LOVE! Yup! He lectured like damn fast and brief. Good for us, cuz we were kinda stoned and not paying attention.


WE ARE SO HARDWORKING PLEASE!

Then we had a tour along the campus but it was like so rushed for time! Rushing at every stop and we didn't have the time to take many photos.

Visited the Book Store and all of us bought UNLV Rebels shirt to wear (:



The professor that brought us around! He so looks like Santa Clause! :P


And we tried taking an official photo with our blazers.

Also visited the largest library there. Its called the Lied Library. Largest in Las Vegas, Nevada. Opened to public. Has 3 main areas: music, acadamic & architecture. (yes, I did my homework)

Then it was back to a lecture on meeting planning. Boring. Like seriously. Totally didn't expect this sort of thing to happen. We were so anticipating to tour around the campus and see more of school life. What a disappointment. It sort of put us in a cranky mood already.


Piss mode. Piss mode.

Took a cab down to Chinatown to meet Miss Ho and Hui Fang for lunch tgt.


I SEE POPEYE! Do you?! Mandalay Bay is so pretty! Haha. And the cop's car had so many lights!

"And I was at my piss period. Hostile is the word. Oops." I wrote that down in Vegas. But I forgot why!


Welcome to their world of Chinatow. It reads "zhong guo cheng" I think. And their take away boxes are all the same! Very very typical.

OH I REMEMBER why I was pissed already! Haha. Short term memory cannot is it!?

We were all so hungry and no one could decided on which place to eat. Like is it so freaking hard to find somewhere and sit down and order and eat? Hahaha. I'm hungry can!

Ok, so YJ just walked into this place. And everyone followed.



Uh, I didn't say I was THAT hungry?!


Ya, there were 10 of us. But no one could finish their food. Oh, except for Pearl! That girl is mad.


All of us shared that and we couldn't finish!

After lunch, we spent some time 'exploring' the place. Pretty boring. Every stall was FOOD FOOD and FOOD.






I so laughed my ass off when I saw that billboard. And I laugh whenever I see it now. Ping Pang Pong. Haha. Hahaahahahaha.

We then dialed for cabs to get out of Chinatown and go Shopping at the outlet centres. Its not that Chinatown was too ulu for cabs to go pass but in Vegas you can never go on the streets and get a cab. If you need a cab, you call for one!


Cabs are expensive there. Transport is expensive there.


And we arrived!!


We were getting happier and happier.


We were walking like DAMN fast. The eagerness to get into the mall to SHOP SHOP SHOP!


OMG THE MALL WAS HUGE!! It was like 'ok, go inside that store NOW! No, you should go there first! Hurry up and get in whatever stall and SHOP!!!' Hahaha.


I used to wear that brand when I was little!


We didn't go in there ):

The sales people in the shop allowed us to take pics! So nice. Oh and the guy working at Billabong was SO CUTE!!


:D :D :D IT WAS LITERALLTY SHOP TILL YOU DROP. From like 3pm until 9pm.. non-stop! Everyone bought loads of stuff! That made up for our bad morning.


After we shop, we dont EAT. We sleep. So we don't get Fat. Ahem. Hahaha!


Stopped at Walgreens before returning to Paramount. We bought food for TOMORROW MORNING!


We just had to take that picture. So resembles what Karen took when we were working for Zenitant for the Sentosa Mega Race.


I went back to the hotel stuffing my luggage with what I bought! It wasnt easy! Haha.

Lets just pray tmr's official programme at Malanda Bay will be fun! And it was. Will blog abt it soon (:
