Let me just complete this.

LAS VEGAS STUDY TRIP- DAY 8

So after visiting Grand Canyon for the whole day, the night was spent packing our stuff and SQUEEZING all of it into our luggages. YJ and I were practically trying every way to get all of our stuff inside! It was as though the zipper could burst open any moment. And The luggage wasn't enough, we had to take out hand carry luggage too!

And the next morning, it was waking up super duper early again, at like maybe 4.30am or something like that to check out of our 'hotel'.

That was home to us for 7 days..


Check out how big my luggage was! Omg it was damn heavy man.


And then we waited for the airport shuttle to come pick us up to the airport..

See, the sky was still pitch dark!

But its so pretty when the day's gonna break.

Can I just kill myself. -.-

We reached the airport at like 6am (I think!) and because we didn't take much photos when we arrived, we had to take some before we left!

SOOO.. first things first. OUTSIDE THE AIRPORT IN THE COLD WEATHER WITHOUT OUR JACKETS. Our teeth were chattering, body shivering in the cold vegas wind. Not to add how sleepy we were because it was so damn early.

This resulted in many bad shots. Because we had so many people, it was either he closed his eyes or she closed her eyes. HAHAHA.

And finally... Perfect. But the airport sign counldt be seen -.-


You don't know how fast all of us made our way into the airport for the heater! HAHAHA.

Now for the fun part. Getting our own air tix! :D :D :D

My name was tgt with YJ's so we sort of did it together. (ahahaha. I still rmb how I edited this photo for open house. It sounded super duper bimbotic!)

3 boarding passes for 3 planes to go homeeee!


We had quite a lot of time after checking in our luggage (omg we were so thankful our luggage was checked in cuz it was just so big and bulky!). Having not succeeded in taking a photo with a prominant Las Vegas background, we went hunting for the perfect spot for the camera.

We found slot machines..

It didnt look THAT prominant, so yea. We failed.

And then we found THIS!
The perfect backdrop but with our tired faces. And they HAD to use the second pic as the "official" Las Vegas Study Trip photo. -.-






And while roaming round the airport we didn't forget to capture the last moments spent there.

We actually didn't gamble at all! Admit it, its amazing! :D


BIG BIG WHIRLYPOPS! EAT ALREADY 100% DIABETES.


AND I WENT TO BUY 2 BIG ONES AND 1 SMALL ONE.
I know I know, damn waste of money! But I had excess USD (amazing too!!) so just buy for fun.

-Ya, the photo shows 1 big and 2 small. But they arn't mine! YJ's!! The person wrapped mine up nicely already so I didn't wanna take them out.

Its fudge. Lotsa flavours and I picked chocolate something and strawberry cheesecake. I think I'm so stupid! I don't like sweet stuff and there I am wasting my money away before leaving for home! Anw it was kinda cheap and they were giving away 1/2 pound for every 1 pound bought. Eh, maybe not so cheap. USD4? Okay, not very cheap!

After having breakfast at BURGER KING (omg of all places they have it in SG too and it was our last meal there) it was about time to board our first plane..



Same as how we got there, it was the same itinary home.

LAS - LAX
LAX - NRT
NRT - SIN

First flight was okay, about an hour to LA. I slept.



The second was a killer cuz we didn't get to sit together. The flight was like 11hrs with no personal entertainment! All we could do was eat, sleep and stone. But yea, I remember being so so sleepy that when I wasn't eating, I was sleeping. Devil wears Prada was showing on the main screen and I forced myself to wake up and watch it although I dozed off quite a few times. HAHAHA.

While transiting at Narita, we saw this. SO CUTE!


And the last flight, althought there was personal entertainment and I wanted to catch a couple of movies- I COULDN'T. I think I was too sleepy and decided to sleep my way back to SG.

We were sitting together, and had personal entertainment. But we were just too too tired.


And aircraft food. HAHAHA.

I think we had more than 4 meals!

So finally, after a 20 odd hr journey, we were back in Singapore. Reached on Monday morning at around 1am..

I was happy; because I knew that there was someone waiting for me at the arrival hall. Although I didn't say anything then, it really meant so much to me.

And I just wanna say a big THANK YOU to you for sending me to the airport and receiving me back. For there were too many issues that made it hard to do so- flights at ungodly hours, school the next early morning, sacrifising a comfortable bed to sleep in etc etc. And that really made me feel like I was priority, like I was the most important one on your list.

So yea, there you go. 8 days in Vegas, almost 13 days in total with travelling time. Great learning experience. Money worth spending. And now I don't know if I would wanna go to aussie this May for another study trip because it'll cost me $2000- not including allowance to be spent there. so much more than what I paid for Vegas. And such a big cohort. Hmmm.
