Fishing Trip 2007!!

Despite the bad bad weather the previous week when it rained practically every day during the afternoon,
WE HAD GOOD WEATHER!
:D :D :D

It was bright and sunny; perfect for tanning (:

So we all met at like 7.15am at PUNGGOL mrt station.
SUPER DUPER EARLY.


Took the free shuttle bus to Marina Country Club to find our uncle and the boat (:

It was the same as last year; same uncle, same boat, same everything.

Except the people that went.
This year was
Karen, YJ, myself, Kenneth, Yong Sin and Han Loon (:




Headed to the kellong to buy the prawns first and this time we didn't go down to have a look.


Then it was off to finding spots to fish!

With the aid of this fish dector thingy.


Saw this.


But first, we did a belated birthday celebration for Han Loon with 4 pieces of rapsberry cheesecake from coffee bean.


And because of the heat, after a few hrs the cake looked like this.


But it was still EDIABLE!
Although I don't like cheese cake, I still ate this one. Maybe its because there's rapsberry!

We didn't have any luck though. Our first fish was caught by the uncle.




Then Han Loon caught a stingray.






And finally, YJ caught another fish.




Random.


Lunched at Pula Ubin.


We saw some guy catching crabs.




We saw this abandoned somewhere also.
SUPER SMELLY CAN?!


At like 4pm, the weather turned for the worse. But it didn't rain. It only dirzzled a bit.


Stupid fishing rod spoiled the photo.


Anws, I did get a little darker! I'd be peeling if not for YJ's SPF55 (omg!) sunblock!

And you know for most living things; you would rather see them alive than dead right. But I'd rather see fishes and prawns and crabs (okay maybe all things living in the sea) DEAD. They are just so squirmy when alive!

I ACTUALLY HELD A LIVE PRAWN FOR A WHILE THAT DAY! :D
When they wanted to take a photo of me holding that prawn, it suddenly wriggled a bit so I screamed and they were like "forget it" -.-
