GOLF GOLF GOLF!!

Why HELLO there! I'm quite high now despite the fact that I slept at like 4am and woke at 9am.

My day was interesting! (:

But before we get there, lets see what I did in the morning.

Went to school, got our SQTR survey questions done up in like 1hr (so all my friends you'll be receiving survey qns from me real soon!) and then we had another 1hr or so to kill before our meeting time for golf (1.15pm).

So so so. Like LAST WEEK; I discovered that there's actually a BOARD GAMES ROOM in NP! Woohoo! Fine fine, so I'm like a little slow and didn't know when that room was set up and today it was my virgin experience there!

Quite small though. There were only 6 tables. But its like term break now so there were spaces available! All we gotta do is show our NP card in exchange for a wide range of board games :D

First, we played Scrabble, no no. Something like Scrabble but we could stack the words up. I forgot the name. It got a little boring cuz most of us were quite brain dead so we switched to Red Apples & Green Apples? Quite retarded, but needed some brain juice too so we choose Uno Stacko next. Finally a no brainer game! Screamed when the thing came tumbling down. And then it was Truth or Dare Jenga.

So all that helped us kill like 1hr! And then we headed over to Blk 1 to meet the rest of the people.

This is somewhat the highlight of the day.

Let me try and explain the situation.
Okay I so feel like drawing in Paint now...

Nevermind. Its quite ugly. I don't want the world to laugh at me.

I'll try to explain.

So like there were 2 buses and they were supposed to u-turn and come to where we were standing so we could board the bus. And when the first yellow bus (for the year 3s) turned, somehow or rather it hit the banner/poster attached to the pole. I thought the banner would break.
BUT I was WRONG.

SEE. Click to enlarge! This is so worth it.

OMGWTH?! The whole back mirror cracked. And there was a tiny hole if you can see. Its at the bottom left hand corner.

So one bus only right. We still had another bus.
Yes the white one (for the year 2s) did not know about the accident that happened. And guess what!

He crashed into the banner!
This time, it was in the front.

This one had a different effect from the first bus! It looks somewhat like a spider web kinda crack.

Why in the world am I analyzing glass cracks here.

It caused some delays and stuff so I had time time running from bus to bus to get clear photos! :D

I don't know why they didn't call other buses to come fetch us. Cuz I know how these buses operate (all thanks to Z), and its like real easy to get another bus to replace these, uhm, broken buses?!

So, the whole glass breaking saga didn't end here.

We boarded the bus, ours was the yellow one with the crack at the back. So all of us sat infront. Thankfully the bus wasn't full and we only occupied like half the seats.

Just ONE photo we took inside the bus! :D

You could literally see that panel of glass wobbling when the bus was moving and passing humps and all. And yes, bit by bit, the glass starting falling apart.

See the hole got a little bigger.

And when the glass broke into bits, some of it fell inwards.

So not safe right! The bus uncle was constantly shouting "everyone okay?!" "I hope you bought insurance!"

And what could get worse. When we were at Woodlands it started raining! So some rain got into the bus.

Someone was saying something like
"later we call our friends and tell them SG is flooding"
"where"
"in the bus!"

It wasn't THAT bad. In fact I don't think a significant amount of rain got in. I don't know. I was sitting quite infront!

So yes. More shattering of the glass while traveling. When we hear the glass breaking sound all of us would turn back and look! And its also accompanied by the usual short girl-screaming sound :P

So this was the condition of the window when we were almost reached our destination.

SO BIG RIGHT!

When we alighted I immediately went off the bus to snap how it looked like from outside!

Major major damage. I didn't know those posters could cause such stuff to glass windows!

I don't know the condition about the other bus though.

So yes. Enough about shattering glass! I mean, don't blame me for kicking a big hoo-ha over this. Eh eh. Have you experienced this kinda thing before?! And what's the probability of it happening TWICE in a row?!

We all arrived safe and sound. We were quite sad it was raining though. Cuz we were gonna have practical lessons after the theory and if it rained our $$ would go down the drain and there wouldn't be any fun ):

Yeah, so we were ushered into this theater for a "lecture". The theory/terms and stuff about golf.

We were given this goodie bag (?) and this cap too! So nice of them.

The goodie bag consisted like uhm, a book on the rules of golf (?!), a score card, a bag of those things to stick inside the grass to hold the ball (okay I forgot the term!) and I don't know what else already. Too lazy to go check.

So they got this Professional Golf Player to speak to us. He's like a coach at the country club and is coaching some real pro girl that won I don't know what award. But yeah, she's like a professional. And what, only 18?! She has a handicap ZERO okay! (see I learnt some terms for golf!)

So yes, YJ and I feel quite uesless cuz we're like older than her (by just A LITTLE!) and haven't really achieved anything significant.

Right. So after that theory session, we were given the chance to take a look at the 18-hole golf course! Obviously we didn't walk around!

Thankfully it stopped raining!! :D

Then it was lunch/dinner (?) at 4pm. Buffet chicken rice! But, uhm, the chicken was quite bloody? Other than that it was good.

We were then split up into 4 groups (TR01 as 1 group!) for our practical session!

First, we went to the Driving Range to learn how to hold, swing and hit the ball far far away! We were on like the second level so it was quite cool!

And yes, I MISSED THE BALL A LOT OF TIMES!

No photos from there cuz we were like rushing for time and all of us were trying to hit the ball properly so at least it will fly straight!

Next next. It was down to the Putting Green practice area. This was when we learnt how to putt the ball into the hole. Differnt golf clubs were used. We had to hold it differently too.

I have photos for this one! :D

This IS SINGAPORE?!

Yeah, that golf club was there to help us hit the ball straight.

Golf madness.

We used A LOT of balls!

Hey, this was damn fun. Compared to the one at the Driving Range. Cuz you feel damn shiok when the ball goes into the hole! And I managed to do that quite a number of times! :D

So the session ended and we wanted to take a "class photo" with the Pro. Having no one we knew on the course, we took photos, IN CLIQUES!

I collaged them together. TR01 with like 2 missing people?

Thats a bigger version with my face in it (:

We packed up and all of us took turns to take that shot in the exact pose!

Okay, SURPRISE SURPRISE!
We took the SAME BUS back to NP!
But this time, the uncle got the window fixed already but still no one sat near there.

And he was nice enough to stop us at like opposite school so we didn't have to cross the overhead bridge!

Golf was fun. We bent our backs and stood in awkward positions with out butt sticking out. But its like; rich mans game I would say. There were lots of little kids learning at the place we went to. I bet they come fron well-to-do families.

And I went to Sunset Way after that to go to The Daily Scoop!

I love their ice cream!

Bro wanted Black Sesame, but they didn't have it today ):

And when I was like on 74 heading home; at FMSS bus-stop. I looked out of the window and guess who I saw?!

BFF LANCE KOH! He just came back from work.
He so owes me 1 day off so we can go out shopping.

*I so didn't name any organization's name or what-so-ever. I'm blogging the right way now. Right YJ and NZ? *nudge nudge*

*TR01, I'll send out the photos via email. If you want like those glass breaking photos or any others, tell me so I can send you via msn (:
