That was the last photo we took with him; from my camera.
He has yet to pass us our class photo he took with HIS camera and we'll never get them no more.

All this happend just too sudden. It was just last Wednesday when we submitted our final project to him. And then he headed to BKK for a golf tournament. And yesterday noon a heart attack in the office took him away for good.

I can still hear his contagious laughter in my head and phrases such as "well, .." and "in time to come.." in my head.

He always looked so happy and smiled until we can't see his eyes. Who would have guessed how fragile he could be and lost the battle.

He was the only lecturer from TRM that taught us for 3 semesters. From TMGT to TRMK to PT.

I've already gotten used to his style, the kind of report he wants, the way he does his notes and the way he teaches. He's the only one that puts all his documents in PDF format on MeL because his files are forever huge. And since TMGT we've been complaining what a waste of paper it is to print 4 slides on 1 sheet of paper.

No one dared climb over his head or come late for classes during our first semester with him. Yes, he was strict and demanded a lot from us.

This resulted in some bitching because of the real high expectations he set. With the "I'm preparing you guys for your first degree" most of us were conscious of everything we submitted to him.

But as time passed, he became more lenient and more friendly. He'll laugh at his own jokes making us stare at him blankly and then we would laugh because of his laughter.

I recognized him for his oakley specs, stylish (for a 51 year old) cut hair, gold ring on his last finger, gold bracelet and rolex watch. He'd always come to class with a file full of markers and pens as his pencil box and usually a bottle of Lemon 1000.

He had a persona that was sturdy and firm which made me not comfortable to open up to him or crap with him like my other lecturers. But he was really concerned and helped me out for the blogging incident. At that point of time, he was so fatherly and gave us a lot of advise.

During our last few PT classes, he said "this is my last chance to teach you guys what you need to prepare you for your IAP/OIAP. Becuase after this all of you will be out in the industry working".

Indeed, he briefed us on a lot of stuff and passed his knowledge down, for the last time. He even gave us his msn address and asked us to add him and nudge him to chat with him and also his handphone number so we can call or sms him when needed which he said will never change.

He was excited and looking forward for us to all go out for our attachment. And its sad that we can't share our experiences with him no more.

And so we headed down to school today to find that all the BA lecturers were in the huge meeting room because of this incident. Ms Ng talked to the TRM yr 3s in the room with tears in her eyes. Many teared, including myself.

But the TRM team will be strong. Hopefully we'll be strong enough to not let this affect us studying for our 4 papers.
