Ferns, Figs, Tembusu, Simpoh Air, Orchids, Gingers, Heliconias etc.
I've never talked plant for so many days in a week.
Okay, its only 3 trails this week at Botanics BUT its the only 3 trails I'm doing.
On tuesday I did an afternoon trail there (yes, afternoon and I almost died of humid-ness). Didn't have very good kids though. I had to hold 2 boys hands while walking back to the meeting point.
And after the trail, the Z people met up (: Cuz only YJ and I were doing Botanics trail and I3 was at Sentosa and I1 did morning Sungei Buloh and I2 was in school, we all met for dinner! Oh, not to forget YJ's sis as well.
In the end we settled for Pasta at Taka and after that I left them cuz they wanted to play Mahjong. Hmmm. Apparently the night didn't end just like that but I shan't say anything more.
And on Wednesday I met YJ to head to Sentosa to tan!
I didn't realize I was already quite black until I sat myself beside YJ. Her fairness was how fair I was when I just came back from Shanghai. So obviously she was the one that needed to tan!

And while tanning, she was on the phone GOSSIPING. I could like hear the other party on the other line lah so she didn't need to tell me anything (:
I self-entertained while eavesdropping on her conversation! Omg I can multi-task!
In the end, I3 came over to Sentosa to look for us! And guess what.
HE COOKED LUNCH FOR THE BOTH OF US :D :D :D
And we spent almost the whole afternoon soaking in sea water until we decided to bathe and get out of Sentosa (:
And there we are showing off the Horlicks candy! I finally met YH to get it from him. Hahaha. He only gave me 9 packets. But, it's sufficient to satisfy my craving. Try finding it selling in shops. I doubt you can get them anymore.
I gave I1, 2, 3 and U2 a packet each (:
We accompanied I3 to eat first before he left and the both us then went to hunt for Aloe Vera gel. YJ's burnt! Her back is as red as a cooked lobster's.
After doing all the necessary, we slacked at the Sky Park waiting for I2 to join us cuz we bought tickets to watch Vantage Point.
Cam-whored cuz we had nothing better to do. Oh, there was another phone call and something else to gossip about. But that's old news already cuz we already know first hand (:

But the main point wasn't the movie, it was the after-movie.
Turned out to be a disappointment though (both the movie and the after-movie). Okay, I shan't be THAT mean. Hahaha. The movie wasn't as good as expected and the after-movie.. we'll, lets just say we were expecting a bit more :D
Okay enough about gossiping! But you'd have to admit that gossips sure make life a bit more interesting (:
Today! Trail. At what time? Neither morning or afternoon trail.
Met the students at 10am. PLMGPS Pri 3.
I haven't done such a long Botanics (or any other) trail before. 4 hours. To make things worse, there were only 4 stations (all located VERY near each other)!
I intentionally took my own sweet time but in the end I had like 2 hours to spare after giving them a half an hour LUNCH break and doing the questions like a snail. The kids are just too smart. I didn't even need to explain much and they wrote all the answers down already.
So, Dionne led the way to the Evolution Garden (my first time there). It was quite far out though (like, after the Visitor's Centre. We walked from the Ginger Garden btw).
I toured them 1 whole round the Evolution Garden and brought them back to the Symphony Stage. I had like 1 hour left.
In the end the girls just kept feeding the fishes and tortoises food at the pond. The bunch I took today were very nice (although they are super loud!) but it's good cuz they are responsive.
The draggy trail finally ended and we tompang-ed Dionne's cab to HV. I3 and I went to eat our lunch at Coffee Club and then, he went to do something dramatic.
