Today, the whole family went to Mandai Crematorium and Columbarium Complex for Qing Ming Jie.
But before that, went for lunch with family somewhere in Holland. There was this Western Food stall selling Cheese Tarts and they are real yummy!! After eating, we headed over to ah ma's place to wait for Aunty Irene and Ah Kooh to come.
Our initial plan was to go K-Box after Qing Ming-ing. So we waited until 3.30pm. SoI started being retarded.

When they came, we took the car over to Mandai. As usual, we started with my Ah Gong first.

While waiting for them to 'eat' the food, I started laming around and I found this! Was gonna burn it to my Ah Gong later.

So, I tried to learn. And, I got it the first time round!! Vic and bro too (: We are so smart. Mummy, Ah Mee and Ah Ee still cant figure it out. Since young, they tried learning it and until now they still don't know how to! Tsk.

Then, we had to walk over to my other Great grandparents place to pray. And we had to walk pass this place. It was like the centre of the whole area.
And why is it such a memoriable place?
Every single year without fail, we would talk about this incident that took place when I was in pri 5or 6? I cant remember. But yes, on that particular year when we went for Qing Ming, I think I got my mum real angry and she took out her slipper and threw it at me! Being the chao ah lian back then, I grabbed hold of it, and didn't wanna return her her slipper!! Nobody could remember what I exactly did to get my mum so angry and humiliate me in public, but yeah, now every year we go there we would talk and laugh about it!
Armed with a camera this year, we decided to replay what happened! Starting with my dad posing as my mum!
Then, the real characters. Hahaha.
I think lots of people were staring at us because we were laughing so so loudly and it was right in the centre of the whole place!!
So, went to Great Grandparents block.
Did the same thing again. And our fingers turned red after all that turning of the papers.
So as planned, we cabbed down to Clementi’s K-Box. Firstly, it was freaking expensive!! $12 +++ and + 50cents for copyright and $5 for titbits?! In total, it adds up to about $20 per person?! So not worth it please. In the end, no one was interested except for Vic cuz she always goes there! So, her black face showed. Whatever man.
In the end, we decided to have dinner. I took Ah Kooh's car and I wanted to bet $50 that Vic would not show up for dinner but no one wanted to bet with me ):

So we reached Holland V’s Ipoh Hor Fun's restaurant and yes I was correct! She did not turn up (: So, we ordered LOTS!! Fried baby squid, mee goreng, fried you tiao, kang kong, dumpling soup, veg, buttered prawns… … Everyone was so full!
Aunty Irene then went over to Province to buy bread. I love their cinnamon buns there!! Then all of them headed over to my place.
Showed them the fishies daddy has. And I realized that he already has 14 fishes!! Morgan was so excited when they were changing the fish tank’s water.
Everyone wanted to look at the pics I took today. And I think they were more interested in finding orbs instead. Zzz.
For the first time, I'm taking pictures during Qing Ming. Is it wrong or ok to do it? Hmmm.
