Wednesday; was a super duper long long day! I woke up at like 5.30am when sleeping at close to 4am? Met Lance at my bus-stop at 6.40am to meet Cheng Wei on 198.
Coincidentally, we saw Clement on the bus. He was going to school. Then I was thinking that I would see Fara if I was lucky enough, and yes. I met that bitch on the bus. Haha. We talked till I got off at Science Centre.
Was supposed to meet Jun Wei there at 7am for Mac’s breakfast BUT Mac’s at Science Centre was only gonna open at 8am! Zzz. Quite a few people were early, so we sat outside and waited.
Did I mention that the trail was for New Town Pri Sch primary 5 and 6?! I was so freaking happy and excited about it. We went through the briefing quickly and the kids arrived (:
The very first thing I did was to try to spot teachers I know! The moment I walked out of the door, my bro waved at me. Haha. Then there I saw Mrs Lily Nadan, my pri 6 form teacher! And she remembers my name without me telling her! I haven’t seen her in ages. I was so touched that she could still remember me! She even introduced me to her class! (:
I also saw Mrs Chiang and Mr Azman but I doubt they remembered me. Haha. I took the pri 5’s and my class was 5 Responsible (B1-B5). The kids were great! I managed to complete most of the stations and would have completed all the stations if there wasn’t a stupid extra station on measuring the temperature of tap water and pond water.
During break times, I talked to quite a few of my kids. I just asked them randomly if they knew who Shawn Ng was and all the girls said yes?! OMG. Then after a whole round of asking, I told them that I was his sister and they took quite a while to believe me. Haha.
Jun Wei was lucky enough to take my bro’s group (G5-G10)! And yes, he had to help me announce to his whole group that I was Shawn’s sister whenever I walked pass.
After the trail, it was bye bye New Town Pri and hello Popeye!! Hahahaha. Jun Wei, Cheng Wei, Wei Wang, Parvin and I planned to head down to Changi Airport together for lunch. Headed to the train station with Lance and Yi En.
Jun Wei is damn damn blur! Before the NTPS trail started, he asked Karthigesan to go to Changi Airport together but in the end he forgot?! Zzz. And Karthigesan took the same train as us, but in the different cabin. So in the end we saw him at Changi.
Haha.
FINALLY WE WENT TO EAT AT POPEYES!!!! I waited freaking freaking long for it already!
After that, we took the Skytrain back to T2 to meet the rest at BK for briefing at 3pm. It was for Marymount Convent Sch pri 1 kids. Quite easy notes (:
Briefing ended early, so we chilled at the viewing hall where I snappede a real gay looking picture of Jun Wei.
After the trail, Jun Wei and I headed back to the office for another briefing at 7pm. This was for Friday’s trail for Hai Sing Catholic Sec sch. Taking sec 2’s. We reached super early and waited until 7.30pm for the briefing to start! Karen came shortly afterwards and we waited in the office.
Should be quite an esay job, being a station master. Partnering with Karen! Yay. But sadly, we’re stationed at the ‘glass bricks’ station which is underground and hot! Zzz.
We ended the whole thing at around 8+pm and Cheng Wei was still at home watching he tv. So, Karen, Jun Wei and I decided to eat dinner at the nearby hawker first. On the way there, we saw this poor little birdie. Or was it a crow. It couldn'f fly.
Waited for 198 later on and planned to go to Jun Wei’s place to watch Big Momma’s House 2. But, half way through the bus ride Karen decided to go home cuz it was already quite late! So it was left with Jun Wei and I and Cheng Wei who was waiting at the bus stop for us.
I was freaking amazed by the fact that Jun Wei’s condo’s lift was directly outside his door! When the lift door opened, it was his home already. Coolness. Started the movie, then half way through his dog Ricky came out and I sort of lost concentration already!
We finished the whole movie and it was 11.30pm. I continued to watch simple life! But I was already half dead. I woke up so freaking early and slept for 1hr+ the previous night! Cabbed home at like 12am+.
The whole day was great (: I loved Wednesday. Great kids, great company despite the little hours I slept! Haha.
Thursday; was real lucky it was an afternoon trail. So I met Jun Wei at 11am at Jurong to get to Yishun to meet Sook Fern, Parvin and Azimah. We were late all thanks to Jun Wei reaching at 11.20am!
Took 851 down to Marymount Convent School and we missed the bus-stop. Walked back and headed to the school canteen to find other facilitators eating there (: Primary school food = cheap food. 1 bowl of noodles only cost 70cents!
Later on, we took the kids on the bus and the whole trail started. Primary 1 kids are lovely. They weren’t shy or anything.
I had so much extra time (ok, not so much but like 30mins!) so I brought them to the viewing hall to look at planes!
Primary 1 kids. All they will do is ask "teacher! how to spell ... ..." and 'teacher! can u help me open this?" I think I helped them open all their food and drinks and spelt the work 'beautiful' 5 times!
We ended it by going back to the pri sch and I said bye bye to them at their foyer. Then this cute little girl came up and started to hug me. She was so short that her head only reached below my hips! Real cute and affectionate (:
The whole thing ended at like 5pm and we had to head back home. It was a long way back all the way from Yishun.
Tired as I am now, I need to reach esplanade at 7.15am tmr!!
